The Jade Emperor, disguised as a poor old man, begged for food from Monkey, Otter, Jackal, and Rabbit. While the others provided food, Rabbit, unable to gather anything suitable, offered itself as a sacrifice. However, Rabbit remained unharmed as the old man revealed himself to be the Jade Emperor. Moved by Rabbit's selflessness, he sent it to the moon, making it the immortal Jade Rabbit, symbolizing selflessness, piety, and sacrifice. The Jade Rabbit on the moon reminds us to uphold righteousness and generosity, encouraging women to remain brave and selfless even when their deeds go unseen.
